AP Pens
AP is the result of many years of passionate collecting, writing and a burning desire and ambition to launch a collection of pens that I would love to own. Maki-e has always been fascinating for me and recent trips to Japan, some amount of good fortune and the chance meeting with artists made it possible to introduce this unique line of writing instruments.
The first two designs are my offering to the pen world as a seller rather than a collector. These pens are the result of over two years of painstaking effort from design to conception and now, finally, a product, a “pen” that surpasses my expectations.
The pens have been crafted with precision, the maki-e is of the highest standard and the artist himself is a master whose works are nationally and internationally treasured.
There will be a total of 18 pens in each style and the pens will be boxed in an Elie Bleu box specially commissioned for us in France by the world renowned humidor manufacturer.
