This is Danitrio's New Mikado Tamenuri Urushi Fountain Pen. The word "Mikado" means Emperor in Japanese. The pen is large size with oversized nib. The pen is an eye-dropper filler with saftety shut off. The pen is just shy of 6.5" closed. The pen has a large two-tone 18kt Gold nib in Medium. The pen is ebonite based, so despite it's size, it is light and pleasant to use. The pen is made by Master Maki-e Artist, Mr. Koichiro Okazaki who was awarded the covetted title of "Dento Kogei-Shi" by the Japanese goverment.
