This unique fountain pen is done by the most prominent Chinkin artist in Japan, Mr. Keisuke Konishi. The Chinkin method of Maki-e involve first carving the outline of a design on Urushi surface and filling the design with gold powders or foils. Chinkin was started by a man called Gorobe during the Kyoho Years (1716-1735).
The pen is new and complete with large lacquer presentation box, paper and one pen leather pouch. The pen is a catridge converter filler.
