This is the new Danitrio Mikado Maki-e "Peacock" by Master Maki-e Artist, Mr. Koichiro Okazaki. The pen was debut at the 2005 Washington D.C. Pen Show. The pen is of ebonite base with 100% hand done maki-e which takes minimum 3 months to complete. The pen is an eye-dropper filler with safety shut-off which is typical of Japanese ED. The art work on this pen is very exquisite and very meticulous. Only 20 pieces will be made, and this one is #8 of 20. Pen is complete with box and papers. For question, please EMAIL me.
